Combined Activity 1/20/2015

The Young Women did a fantastic job of organizing the combined activity this week. The YW Leaders coordinated with the local food pantry to provide food packets for children in need. At local Elementary Schools there is a fee lunch and breakfast program for children who don't have the means to buy school lunch. The packets are distributed to kids after school on Fridays so that they will have something to eat over the weekend. It was a great service opportunity. The Youth had a good time and it made all of us reflect on how fortunate we are and that it's important to serve others who may be in need.
